PestWorld 2020 | October 13-16 | Nashville, Tennessee

No one was prepared for how the coronavirus global pandemic would upend and challenge us all. Yet, we are all coming together. We are witnessing this with how our country is working with the medical and science communities and responding as a nation to do all we can to stop the spread of COVID-19. Schools and non-essential businesses are following state orders and citizens across the U.S. are (hopefully) doing their part to just stay home. Our industry community is answering the call, too.

Companies began responding at the local level and are giving back to the communities where they live and operate, and the industry jumped into action and is providing critical guidance in uncharted territory. Both the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), as well as the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) are listening to its members, and taking active steps to provide leadership and support through the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the globe. To provide members with timely and accurate information related to COVID-19, NPMA launched www.pestcontrolcoronavirus.com. The website is updated regularly with breaking news, CDC guidelines and information, government policy resources, templates for internal and external communications and HR resources to help members stay on top of this rapidly evolving situation.

We know you have questions about PestWorld 2020 slated for Nashville in October.  We believe in our industry and our ability to survive and thrive, especially during difficult times. We understand the importance of events like PestWorld in bringing the industry together to create opportunities for advancement in education, business successes and networking, all of which make us stronger as an industry.

Currently, we are moving forward with PestWorld 2020 as planned. We as a nation are taking it one day at a time,  NPMA is closely monitoring the situation and adapting as needed.  The safety of our members is of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to evaluate the health and safety of moving forward with an in-person meeting, and/or our options for moving the Annual Convention to a virtual format. We anticipate a decision to be made by August 1, 2020 regarding the format for this year’s Annual Convention. In the interim, we look forward to continuing to share with you the new opportunities and activities that are planned for PestWorld 2020. We have faith in you and the industry and hope in the future we will build together.

Every year, NPMA gathers thousands of pest management professionals from across the globe to offer opportunities for information sharing, provide access to the latest products, services, and technologies in the 100,000 square foot exhibit hall, and generate critical thinking in world-class educational sessions.
